Mira Williams was born and raised where the Ohio River meets the Muskingum, in a small town where ghosts haunt the very bricks that pave the streets. She has been obsessed with scary stories since her mother first read her Hansel and Gretel, and started writing her own in the fifth grade. After graduating college in a town better known for its asylum than its school, Williams manhandled bats and snakes for several years as a wildlife technician, and is rabies vaccinated. She now works on old houses, and hopes to publish Pickering Road as her debut novel.
